Broiled Grapefruit with Agave and Ginger

Here's an easy way to change up a common breakfast item. This recipe is great for a chilly autumn morning when you crave something warm.

1 grapefruit
1 teaspoon agave nectar
Pinch of ground ginger
Pinch of sea salt

Cut the grapefruit in half and cut between each citrus section with a knife. Drizzle agave over each half. Sprinkle ginger and salt over tops.

Heat the broiler. Arrange halves in an ovenproof dish. Cook for 5 minutes under the broiler or until the sides brown.

Serves 1
